Well its Official! I will be on the cover of the Big City Blues Mag Aug/Sep issue. I will be on with Watermelon Slim, Jason Ricci, Curtis Salgado, Jumpin' Jonny Sansone, Billy Gibson, and Annie Raines. It is the C Harp Issue! The cover photo was taken on the bow of the Eurodam, in the Bahamas on board the Ledgendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise.

Deak was Also a Special Guest of The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise. On Board with Big City Rhythm & Blues Mag. Robert Jr Whiteall & Shirley Mae Owens, spreading the word about the magazine. and playing with everyone on the cruise. Bob Margolin , Guy Davis, Sugar Blue, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, and more.

Yeah, that's right! ...His last name is Harp, brother! ...And after hearing his prowess in blowing those tiny 20 reeds one might think Deak Harp was born with that harmonica in his mouth!.....You just have to listen to his MySpace track "Ridin' The Rails" one time and you'll be convinced. Deak started playing harmonica at age 12, when he heard a schoolmate playing blues on a harmonica. Deak listened to British blues untill his brother Bob told him about a harp master named James Cotton.
